Of cylindrical form on a moulded stand, barrel and lid repoussé and chased with cherubs' heads, bunches of fruits and scrollwork. Loop handle with fleur de lis terminal, hinged lid with a baluster finial. Hallmark, silver proof, master: Matthäus I Seutter (m. 1604, d. 1632). Ca. 472g. Minor wear, min. rest.
